Timeline elements display

When I pause the timeline indicator at any particular point, I have a display of every element in the timeline. Is there a way of displaying only what is active at that particular point? i.e. If only two elements are active at 5 secs I would just like to see those two elements and not the remaining how many:) Using Captivate 5 on a PC.

Sorry, but that's the behavoir we have. What you can do is to turn objects off and on if you like. You do that using the visibility option as shown below:
