John T Smith Mar 31, 2012 4:04 PM (in response to raiugas)Create a folder on your hard drive and then use the FREE http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download to write files or folders or ISO to disc for DVD or BluRay (send the author a PayPal donation if you like his program)

2. Re: Impossible to burn BD-r discs
Bill Hunt Mar 31, 2012 4:44 PM (in response to John T Smith)Unfortunately, PrE, thru version 10, does not have the capability to Burn to Folder for BD - only for DVD.
I have been racking my brain, for something that might help the OP, but am coming up blank.
Now, with earlier versions of Adobe Encore, with many of the same Sonic AuthorCore modules, that PrE uses for authoring, there were some issues with DVD-9 - R's, and, IIRC, it could only burn to DVD-9 + R's, but that was an older Encore, and also DVD's, not BD's
Other than perhaps the brand of blank media being use, I cannot imagine why an BD - RE would write, but not a BD - R.
Wish that I had some ideas, but good luck, and welcome to the forum.

3. Re: Impossible to burn BD-r discs
nealeh Apr 1, 2012 9:35 AM (in response to raiugas)Need to determine if the problem is with PRE or with something else. Try copying the BD-RE disk to a BD-R and see if it works. If it doesn't then the problem is not with PRE, if it does then the problem is most likely with PRE.
Cheers,

4. Re: Impossible to burn BD-r discs
pgauba Apr 6, 2012 4:18 AM (in response to raiugas)Hi,
There are three reasons for this chapter overflow error.
- Problem with burner
- Problem with BD disc
- Disc space(estimation and actual size problem)
You can create the logs and check the reason for chapter overflow.
Steps to create log -
Steps –
- Go To Registry
- Go To HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Premiere Elements\10.0(version number)
- Create new DWORD – EnableBDLog
- Enter 1 in value data
Logs will be generated in My Documents folder with the name “pre-BD-Log.txt”.
Please check the logs if there is a device error “3” in the logs - This error is for device problem or bad Disc.
BD-RE is working fine in your case, so the problem might be with BD-R disc or your Blu ray burner does not support BD-R discs.
Thanks,
