I don't know if this is the right forum, but here goes.
Yesterday, I tried to watch a video on youtube and the browser window went black. I could still see the url bar, bookmarks, and everything else. I thought it was a joke at first, because it was April Fool's day. Hardy har.
Anyway, it's happening again today, and it's also on google maps. I made a video so you can see exactly what I'm talking about.
I updated my graphics card drivers, flash player, java, and I deleted the cache and cookies, then restarted. It's still happening. I've been looking online for a solution for a while now, and people keep saying to right click on the video, go to settings, and uncheck "Enable hardware acceleration," and I did that too. No luck.
Aslo, I don't know if it helps, but it's random. I can watch some videos on youtube just fine, and other ones warrant the black page. Same with google maps, so far, I've just seen it when I try to get directions for the post office.
Lastly, it also happens when I google something, and it gives you a preview of the page right next to the link - as long as I don't hover over the link, the preview won't show, and my screen is fine.
Please and thank you for helping!
also, it seems to be working at first, but then a black page when I type in and submit "chicago."
