I'm using a Windows 7 (64bit) client and want to have the Silent Background AutoUpdate in 11.2.202.228 disabled for now. Therefore I use a mms.cfg with the settings:
AutoUpdateDisable=1
SilentAutoUpdateEnable=0
I verified that the cfg file is used.
Now when I open the task scheduler I can see that the FlashPlayerUpdateService is still running every hour writing 9 events. This happens whether or not I'm using the mms.cfg.
Shouldn't that look different when the service is not used? How can I tell, that the background update is really turned off?
Best regards
