The separate Scrollable Frame overlay is a v19 feature. If you're on v18 or earlier, you want Pan & Zoom > Pan Only.

ebls2011 Apr 3, 2012 6:21 PM (in response to Bob Bringhurst - Adobe)Thanks Bob. When I shared the issue on my ipad, it says the App needs to be updated but when i go to the app store to look for the Adobe Viewer update and there is none. My current version is 2.3.1. Is there another newer app i need to install?
cheers

ebls2011 Apr 4, 2012 2:53 PM (in response to Bob Bringhurst - Adobe)Hi Bob,
I got a question regarding the Advanced Pullout Tabs that you created. May I know what’s the purpose of creating another small invisible dummy frame that aligns to the top left inner edge of the container frame?
Thanks!

8. Re: Where is the "Scrollable Frame" on the Overlay Creator panel?
BobLevine Apr 4, 2012 3:06 PM (in response to ebls2011)I know you mean the other Bob, but the purpose of that is to have something to align with the edge of the scrollable content.
Without the dummy content you wouldn’t be able to position the content. Try doing it without that and you’ll see the problem.

Bob L. is right. Without the dummy frame, the tab is just stuck there. Adding the dummy frame makes it work. Colin demonstrates the effect in this video, which was made for the more limited v18 tools: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmMnH5h2chw

ebls2011 Apr 4, 2012 4:27 PM (in response to Bob Bringhurst - Adobe)Thanks Bob(s). I will have a look at the video. Currently even though I used the dummy frame, my tab will not close when I view it on the desktop viewer.

I'm not sure what's causing your scrollable content to get stuck, but I was experimenting with a separate dummy frame (not the "pin" frame) that would prevent the content from scrolling unless you dragged the tab. This approach worked great as long as I didn't release the tab. If I released the tab, the content got stuck. So I went back and removed or shrunk the dummy frames.

ebls2011 Apr 4, 2012 4:44 PM (in response to Bob Bringhurst - Adobe)Sorry, what do you mean by the “pin” frame. I just followed the instruction on DPS Tips to create a small rectangle dummy box to group with the container box but my tab doesn’t scroll back to the close position.

That's what Colin calls the dummy frame that creates the necessary space to drag the content onto the page. I don't know why your frame is getting stuck. Have you tested it on a mobile device?

ebls2011 Apr 4, 2012 4:56 PM (in response to Bob Bringhurst - Adobe)I only tried on the desktop viewer as I’m still waiting for the updated Adobe viewer app for iPAD. Would the desktop viewer work fine?

ebls2011 Apr 10, 2012 1:33 PM (in response to Bob Bringhurst - Adobe)Hi Bob,
I'm just wondering whether I can put another panning content inside a Scrollable frame content?
