I do not know why this is happening, but you can download the font packs manually from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Windows (add-ons, near the bottom of the page).
I am still tring to work this out.
Could you please check if you are able to launch the default browser on your system. Once launched, try and open the PDF again and see if it works this time round.

and, there is no 'updator' option in the 'edit\preferances',

Yup. Please enable the updater funtionality or ask your Admin to do the same, to enable auto download.
yes, i think i got it.
due to that this is in enterprise environment,
auto updator feature is disabled.
