This is rather vague, list your actions that end up crashing your system.

Sorry,
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit SP1
Firefox 4.0 (says up to date) or internet explorer
install_flashplayer11x64_mssd_aih
As for actions,
I have went directly to the site to download install_flashplayer11x64_mssd_aih, go to install, it gets to 99% and then blue screen.
I have used firefox to go to a flash site, it says I am missing supporting plug ins, so I try and install, it tells me has to be manually installed, links to adobe site, install, close firefox, 99% then blue screen.
I also used internet explorer to try and install, but same steps, tries to install plugin, then tells me must be done manually, download the install file, install, blue screen.

Delete this file: install_flashplayer11x64_mssd_aih
Download the current 32 or 64 bit uninstaller
Close all browser windows and run the uninstaller
Restart Windows
Delete all remaining files and folders located in the following directories. (tip: copy and paste these paths into the path bar in a Windows Explorer window)
Verify that the file “FlashPlayerCPLApp.cpl” in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ has been deleted.
Download the following installer files:
Physically disconnect from the Internet and run both installers.

So I saved that to a text file, and followed it 100%, verified all files were deleted, restarted back into windows, installed active x plugin (install_flash_player_ax_64bit) it worked,
then I went to install the other file install_flash_player_64bit, it got to 100% then crashed my computer again. but this time, no blue screen, just an endless loop.. I couldn't control alt delete or anything, waited about 3 mins to see if it came back but just sat frozen until I force restarted by holding power button.

Now that Flash Player for Internet Explorer is installed, can you view flash videos with it?

I don't use Firefox, so I don't know for sure what is going wrong. However, the latest Firefox is version 11.

I also have the blue screen problem when installing.
I use Win 7 Home 32bit.
The last couple of updates started the problem so I followed the flash removal tips but now I can't install the latest Flash Player?
Edit: Solved the problem by updating my Eset Antivirus to the latest version. Hope that helps someone else
