Bill@VT Apr 7, 2012 4:59 AM (in response to firedancer442)Printing what to what. If you are talking about printing a PDF from Acrobat to the printer, did you select document as the part to be printed in the print menu, or just markup? Details and versions of software and OS are useful in helping.

Can you please check your preview box present at the right bottom corner of print dialog. Is the preview coming right?
If no, then please try changing 'Comment and Forms' option present just above it. Try selecting 'Document and markups'.
Hope this will solve your problem.

jeffo555 Apr 19, 2012 6:16 PM (in response to firedancer442)I am having the same problem. I have mac 10.6.8, reader 10.1.3, firefox 11 and safari 5.1.2. Changed firefox to 32 bit, can view pdf's in firefox and safari, and can print in firefox and safari using the print icon on the pdf doc. However, I can not view or print blank pdf docs using the file print command from the firefox and safari toolbars. Printer works fine. Suggestions?

shehrki Apr 20, 2012 12:03 PM (in response to firedancer442)I'm having this problem too and I'm printing by using the print icon at the bottom of the screen. You don't get the same kind of options as from the file->print connections. I'm going back to an older form of this software. http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/

13. Re: prints come out as blank
Sendoku May 8, 2014 10:50 AM (in response to firedancer442)I am also having this issue with 10.1.9.
I have created a PDF form in Acrobat from another PDF and the latest version of Adobe reader prints a blank page when the form is filled out. I can print the page if I print it in black and white, or if I save the document, and reopen it, or if I print as an image. However none of these are convenient solutions for the people having to use this form.
The form will not print if it is downloaded and opened and then filled out and printed. It will however work in older versions of reader (10 and down). I believe this is due to an update with Acrobat's form builder, or Adobe reader not flattening the PDF properly when the form is filled out. Very confusing and frustrating.

Dr. Pamela Rutledge Apr 15, 2015 9:23 AM (in response to firedancer442)Having same problem randomly. This morning with documents printing blank when scanned from ScanSnap using Mac OS Yosemite 10.10.3 printing to Brother 6080 but not from those printed to PDF in MSWord. Can only print when checking "print as image" in advanced but this makes them not searchable.

I have tried all the mentioned fixes with no luck. When I print the PDF, it prints blank. I have the latest adobe reader installed. I have unchecked 'choose paper source' and 'print as an image '. It still prints blank.
Anything else i should do?
Please advise

ksuguy May 16, 2015 10:16 AM (in response to -thedude-)I started to have the same issue last night on my Samsung printer. Here are some things I did. One, I noticed it defaulted to printing to One Note and not my printer. I also had to change the Quality advanced setting from 600 to dpi1200 . I was also printing blank pages from gmail so anyway hope this helps. I'm printing today.

ksuguy May 16, 2015 10:19 AM (in response to -thedude-)I started to have the same issue last night on my Samsung printer. Here are some things I did. One, I noticed it defaulted to printing to One Note and not my printer. I also had to change the Quality advanced setting from 600 to dpi1200 . I was also printing blank pages from gmail so anyway hope this helps. I'm printing today. Also my drivers for my printer were recently updated via software update so I don't know if that had any impact or not. I went to my Samsung Easy Printer Manager app and made sure the settings looked okay and I had the right default printer selected. The good news is that it technically is "printing" now it's just finding out the setting or why it's not getting the text info. You may want to also mark print in gray scale to see if that has some impact. Good luck

egstl Jul 27, 2015 10:32 AM (in response to firedancer442)I was able to resolve it by taking the URL and pasting it into FireFox, which in turn allowed me to save it to my hard drive. I then opened the saved file in Adobe Acrobat, and it printed out correctly!

rogerc77282027 Aug 19, 2015 8:34 AM (in response to firedancer442)My situation was even more weird. I created a pdf from several pdf files. When I printed it, the last 10 pages came out blank!!! I tried multiple changes as suggested above. nada. I went back to the original and did a save as smaller pdf, then inserted that into the master file in place of the previous pages, finally safved it all as small size pdf. Now it's printing. Very mysterious.

May be you are printing a file that comes from a scanned image. So in the Print Menu go to the Advance options and choose "Print as Image".

itv70949108 Oct 1, 2015 12:01 PM (in response to piojarias)I have had this issue with scanned PDFs since upgrading to Reader DC. Reader says I need to install an Asian language pack, but that doesn't make sense.
Choosing to "Print as Image" still results in a blank page. Copying it to a JPEG works, although this is not a viable long term solution.

vaamorais Oct 12, 2015 9:07 AM (in response to Paul_dt)I think to have solved the issue on my end.
It seems that by installing the Asian Language Pack and choosing to "Print as Image" solves the problem.
By the way, I am using Adobe Reader XI v11.0.12.
Hope this helps.

bernardoe62426296 Jan 6, 2016 6:09 PM (in response to firedancer442)You will need to upload the Asian Language Pack for the Acrobat Reader DC and it solves the problem. I uploaded and uninstalled Acrobat Reader DC 2015.00920069 several times and could not print some previous saved pdf files. With Acrobat Reader DC 2015.00920069 installed, I then uploaded the Asian Language Pack for the Acrobat Reader DC and bingo, the program prints all images. The problem of blank pages being printed is over, gone, absent.

jesq Mar 31, 2016 7:45 AM (in response to firedancer442)Issue is still not fixed, but you can work around it.
1. Update to the latest Adobe by clicking Help/check for updates.
2. Click File/Print/ SUMMARIZE COMMENTS/ Click yes on pop up
3. That's it...this was the only thing that worked for me.

Miguel Agawin Feb 2, 2017 10:22 AM (in response to firedancer442)Just an update to this old, potentially resolved issue as I've just experienced it for the first time: The unusual property in the PDF document with which I'm having this issue includes a complex or high-density vector graphic. My suspicion is it's a rendering/processing issue for the printer. I resolved it by reformatting said graphic to a high-quality bitmap image. Obviously not a perfect but if my hypothesis is true, the outcome could be a firmware issue on the part of the printer. (Using Acrobat DC 15.23.20056.213124 on El Capitan.)

andreac81386378 May 16, 2017 3:11 PM (in response to originalapache)i tried everything up above, except holding a live chicken and dancing in the rain during full moon.
this issue was driving me crazy, and i was become desperate.
besides trying to download drivers, update my software for my Canon PIXMA 522, or for Adobe Acrobat Reader (don't have a paid version - and wouldn't buy one at this rate) - i also tried to convert them into other files (.txt, .jpg, .xlsx, .doc, ... ) NONE of that worked.
then, i deleted my printer from my computer (MacBook Air 2013, OSX Yosemite 10.10.5) - then added it back. FINALLY, everything worked again (as far as printing). good grief!! why would Adobe make such a user unfriendly program that brings us all to this page in panic, desperation, and different levels of frustration??
for the record, my printer seemed to work normally in every which way with all other programs and for other uses while i was in this battle to print ONE PDF file (which wouldn't convert to .txt or anything else because the OCR scrambled too many words).

Kaeon1 Aug 4, 2017 9:22 PM (in response to firedancer442)Windows 10 Version 1703 (16257.1)
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2017.009.20058
I also tried everything:
- Installing language packs
- Modifying every printer setting under the sun
- 'Print as image'
- No duplex
- Document / Document Markups / Summarize Comments / etc.
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the printer
No luck using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to print my PDF. It always comes out blank.
I did however open the PDF in Chrome and selected 'Print using system dialog' and was able to duplex print my PDF successfully from there.

rossh69207487 Nov 22, 2017 2:25 PM (in response to firedancer442)Frustrated too! My windows just upgraded to the "new" 1709 windows 10 version 16299.64. I'm running on a 64-bit Dell Laptop.
Up until the this new version of windows installed, adobe was running "slow" but at least it would print.
We scan to a pdf on an Epson scanner (not an all-in-one, just a scanner), it scans fine, image shows in Epson preview fine, saves fine. Open it in either preview or in Adobe, and it's BLANK, or the first page is blank and/or miscellaneous pages are blank, but WON'T print at all, all pages blank when printing.
We've uninstalled and then updated the scanner drivers/software, we've update the Adobe reader, we've removed and added the printer drivers, still nothing. I also have the full version of Adobe on another laptop, and it does it there too.
Sometimes it'll print from "quick print" but not every time. Some of the pdf's just spool forever and never print.
Something has changed and needs to be addressed ASAP.
