Yes.
Note: Set the language to the dominant language (either English or Spanish).

For some reason, though, I can't set tagging for a page in its entirety, but can select text-based elements and do language encoding. Will see if there is another method...

A structure tree of:
[Document] - the structure tree root - given language = English
--| [Article] - let's make this every thing on page 1 & is English text
----| [some tag]
------| [Container] - content
----| [some tag]
------| [Container] - content
--| [Article] - let's make this every thing on page 2 & is Spanish text - Make language = Spanish --this establishes the language for all the subsequent child tags' content.
----| [some tag]
------| [Container] - content
----| [some tag]
------| [Container] - contentn.b., Section 14.9 of ISO 32000-1 provides discussion of the language attribute.
