fm10: 'Adobe PDF' disappeared from Print Setup. Help?

So, I'm working on my client's notebook (I'm on site) with Frame10 installed. It was working fine last time I used it.

Went to print a book to 'Adobe PDF' and the option is no longer in my Print Setup.

Only thing that has changed since last use is the system tried (and failed) to load the 10.1.3 Acrobat X Pro update. (Currently running 10.1.2).

I can still run Acrobat Pro X with no problems.

I can still generate PDFs from Word with no problems.

So... the question is... how to I get Adobe PDF back into FrameMaker as a valid option? (I'm blanking and my searches are coming up useless.)

Thanks for any pointers.

Thanks Jeffa nd Harry.

I tried the control panel solution - Adobe wasn't there.

I tried the repair - it failed.

I removed the Creative Suite and re-installed. Everything reinstalled successfully except... Acrobat.

It's now being nuked/paved and I'll be reinstalling TCS2.5 and CS5.5. Whee!

Try installing the update or if that still fails, repair the install of Acrobat Pro X from your install files

Hi jaggedpeak,

Goto control panel and open Printer and Faxes

Goto add a new printer and it will show you Adobe as an option to add a printer there, click that and add Adobe Pdf as a printer.

Make sure you make Adobe Pdf printer a difault printer once you have added it.

Thanks

Harpreet.

I was thinking of suggesting that too, but I thought that since the update had failed, there may have been other bits that were left broken too. Repairing & updating would fix that.
