2. Re: Why my navigational link is not working?
Nancy OShea Apr 20, 2012 2:36 PM (in response to espi62)Switch to Code View. Did you wrap anchor <a> tags around each text link?
Before anchor tags:
Some link | Some link | Some link
After anchor tags:
<a href="page1.html"Some link</a> | <a href="page2.html"Some link</a> | <a href="page3.html"Some link</a>

5. Re: Why my navigational link is not working?
Rik Ramsay Apr 20, 2012 4:07 PM (in response to espi62)I tried to test a simple link by typing 5 words and linking them to 5 files accordingly
Have you made sure that the menu items are linking to the same place on ALL pages? It sounds like you have a main page with the correct menu but have not included the updated menu on all the pages you are linking to.
If you are using a template, make sure you update all child pages before testing the navigation.

6. Re: Why my navigational link is not working?
Nancy OShea Apr 20, 2012 4:11 PM (in response to espi62)If you haven't already, you'll need to procure space on a remote web server from a commercial hosting company. When you've got the log-in details from your host, plug that info into Dreamweaver.
See Setting Up Local & Remote site folders (CS5 & CS5.5)
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/dreamweaver/cs/using/WS753df6af718a350a60097e0f131686fa2b4-7ff e.html
Upload your test page & dependant files to your remote server.
Come back here and post the URL to your problem page.
When your question is answered, you may remove the files from your remote server.

I've only do the linking of the Navigation menu only on the first page just
to see if the if it is working. But since you mentioned that i need to
finish linking the rest of the pages therefore, let me work on it and see

8. Re: Why my navigational link is not working?
Rik Ramsay Apr 20, 2012 4:16 PM (in response to espi62)The problem with only doing the navigation on one page is that once you have clicked to another page, the navigation is no longer there to allow you to get back. I think this is what you are experiencing.

10. Re: Why my navigational link is not working?
espi62 Apr 20, 2012 5:30 PM (in response to Rik Ramsay)Rik, It did work. Thank you very much for your help. Let me also extend
my appreciation to John and Nancy for your response.
@John - My last question is, as you mentioned that i need to upload in the
website a webpage in question. Does this mean i need to open with an
account with web server companies (like hostgator, bluehost, etc.) or can i
do this at no cost and how. Thank you in advance.

11. Re: Why my navigational link is not working?
John Waller Apr 20, 2012 7:02 PM (in response to espi62)Free hosting (google for options) is OK but if you want your website to be taken seriously then purchasing web hosting is easily the best way to go.
