In Timeline view, just drag the video on Video 2 to the left or right so that it doesn't start at the same time as the video on Video 1.
Thanks for quick reply
Is there no way that i can alter the start postion of each video rather than scroll through it? i.e enter a start postion in figures in a box some where?
If both videos are 30 minutes long and i want to look at some that happened on 20 minutes and compare it with the other is 15 min 25 sec, can i not just enter the off set required in a box and the program sort the off set for you? i know its sounds lazy!!!!
As I point out in my books, you can click on the timecode on the Monitor panel and type in a timecode to position the CTI playhead at an exact position. You can then drag the beginning or end of a clip to that position to snap to it.
But, no, it's not possible to just tell the clip to jump to a position.
Thank you for your help Steve much appriciated
