Save to SharedObject Every Second

Is it ok/advised/damaging-to-performance to save to my sharedObject every second or even 10 times a second assuming I have about 25 Number vars with values in the billions?

Try it and see... really no other way to tell - any performance issues are more going to be a result of the rest of your app...
