What are the specs of your media?
They're the same as I"ve always used.
However, the problem seems to have sorted itself now? All I can think it is, is that Premiere is having to maybe convert the audio codecs?
It was just a bit weird that it suddenly started happening.
But as per your request, I think this is the right info:
Type: QuickTime Movie
File Size: 3.1 GB
Image Size: 720 x 576
Frame Rate: 25.00
Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 16 bit - Stereo
Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Stereo
Total Duration: 00:14:24:05
Average Data Rate: 3.6 MB / second
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.4587
Thanks for the help
PP will 'convert' audio from that source into 32 bit floating point for use inside of PP. If you try and play a file before conforming is finished, you can have issues.
In the lower right hand corner of the interface, you'll see yellow progress bars for the conforming. Wait till that's done.
Cheers for that! I'll check it out now and get back to you.
This is going to be an incredibly amateur question but where am I looking for the progress bars?
Everything seems to be going ship shape now.... fingers crossed!!!
Cheers for all the help!
