I have Vista 32 bit & have done the three step clean uninstall (manually deleting files) as described before.

Everyday I have to uninstall (using your auto method) and reinstall using the links previously listed on this forum. (Sorry not able to post the links here)

Please provide the links required to successfully keep flash working each time I boot.

Thanks

The complete clean install procedure is described in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/928315

Download the offline installers from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#install_in_a_...

If you still have problems, please list the contents of the FlashInstall.log file in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash

Please also list all files you have in that folder.

This happens all the time!  Most times I catch it; this time I missed it

(I have corrected the link.)

I have attempted the thread 928315 address in various formats but will not load.

Why is it Flash has operated successfully for over a decade and one update has rendered it a pain in the butt?

Becoming increasingly annoyed.

I am not a computer guru, I trust the instructions at this thread when correctly posted will be easy to understand, if not, how about the latest edition of Flash we update to corrects all these problems!

If you're finding that you need to reinstall every day, you might be encountering problems with file or registry permissions.  Please see this FAQ that tries to clear these problems up:

How do I fix Windows permission problems with Flash Player?
