cweger79 May 10, 2012 5:49 AM (in response to Arpit Kapoor)Hello Arpit,
Thanks for your reply, but it wasn't very helpful.
1. I know Adobe AIR is working, because I can run other AIR-based apps (including various installers)
2. The link you provided for Adobe Community Help says "This application is intended for existing installations of Creative Suite 5" which is not what I'm looking for. I was hoping for CS6 help.
3. Regardless of #2, I tried it anyway. The AIR package downloaded, and when I went to run it, it displayed an error dialog that said "This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
Doesn't inspire much confidence. Still looking for a way to install CS6 help.

Arpit Kapoor May 10, 2012 6:47 AM (in response to cweger79)ahh,i missed that. Adobe Community Help will not work for CS6 as the help pdf files are still not available. We need to wait for some time.
But you should be able to use the online Help from ID CS6 and it should guide you to the below link.
http://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/topics.html
Seems there are still some traces for CS6 left on your machine.
Which OS do you have?
Did you ran Adobe cleaner tool?
Lets Uninstall the CS6 completely from the mahcine and run the cleaner tool as well. http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation -problems.html
Try to install CS6 now and check.

HJSalberg Jul 10, 2012 12:40 PM (in response to cweger79)I ran into the identical problem. It's the Mac CS6 Web Design Premium install. I went to InDesign Help and got the same error message.
