installing cs 6 on a iMac OS 10.7

I've just downloaded CS 6 put it doesn't show up in my applications folder even after I've opened the insdtsller.  There is a download file with the Adobe CS6 Standard Icon.  Should I just drag itinto the applications folder?  Thanks.

Did you installed CS6 using Creative cloud or using the Disc or ESD?

You need to click on the setup.app file from the ESD/DVD and then try to install the application. In case you got it from Creative cloud, you need to run the adobe application manager and install Dw CS6.
