Have downloaded Flash Player 11 several times. It is never there when needed. How do I get it installed?

I have the same problem. The files in that directory are

Flash32_11_3_300_257.ocx

FlashInstall

FlashPlayerUpdateService

FlashUtil32_11_3_300_257_ActiveX.dll

FlashUtil32_11_3_300_257_ActiveX

mms.cfg

and I used Explorer 9 with Windows 7 Professional

Can you please verify the steps in this FAQ and let me know if it still occurs.  After installing, does Flash work at all?  Does it only disappear after rebooting?
