Installing Flash

I have installed flash on my computer and the last screen says installed.However when I go to use a programmer requiring flash it tells me to install it.Flash is not shown on my list of installed programmes.

I am using widows 9 and google browser

Google Chrome comes with Flash Player preinstalled; you don't need to install Flash Player for Chrome.  If you need a newer version, install the latest version of Chrome.
