Dear Adobe + People,
We upgraded to CS5.5 Late last year.
Now that CS6 is released we are looking at the updates, and for our business we can get a lot out of it.
We currently have about 7 Licenses and to upgrade them all to CS6 would cost us around 2000 euro's
Now that isn't really the problem here, my problem is more with the way adobe currently has planned the next updates.
I mean if every year a new CS comes out, that will be a yearly price of 2000 euro's.
While normally we could have been done with an upgrade an it would have last for a couple of years (almost 3, we went form CS4 to CS5.5)
My questions is, will the in between updates like CS6 to CS6.5 be cheaper then a upgrade from CS6 to CS7
And also what is the plan for the updates in a release like CS6.5 would I be paying major euro's for minor updates.
I know a yearly bill of 2000 euro is nothing compared to the ridiculous prices of creative cloud (which would cost me almost 5500 euro a year at the minimum)
I just want to know what I can Expect, I'm more inclined to upgrade every 2 years on this setup, but I imagine adobe's strategy is ofcourse to give the .5 upgrades the necessary features so that you almost 'need' to update every year.
Kind Regards,
Patrick
