Can someone tell me how to open a new clip from my project panel without leaving the keyboard?
The keyboard is way more efficient than the mouse in Prelude, using JKL+Spacebar to scrub, number keys to add markers, and keyboard is required to add a name to a marker. Once I finish logging a clip, and I want to load and start adding markers to the next clip in my project, I have to pick up the mouse and double click it to open it. I can't find anything in the keyboard shortcuts that would let me do this.
If this is currently impossible in Prelude, I think it is a serious design flaw because my efficiency is knocked way down.
You can add your own keyboard shortcut to send focus to the Project panel. This thread discusses a couple of suggestions from other users.
From the Project panel you can open a selected clip by pressing Return or Enter.
