Hi,

I'm using RH 9.0.2 so document our software. This involves function names and enumerations that include underscore characters. For example 1)"foo_bar" , 2)"foo_bar_ut_din", and 3) "foo".

If I search for "foo_bar" I only get "foo_bar"

If I try escaping the underscore by searching for "foo\_bar", I get "foo", "foo_bar", and "_bar", but also takewayFOOd.

If I search for "foo_" I get nothing.

Is an underscore a special character, and if so, what does it mean?

Thanks,

Steve

Try selecting Enable Sub String Search.

Searching on foo and foo_ then works OK.
