Did you copy and paste the hyperlinks from the H orientation to the V?
as in, not set them up on the V doc
sometimes the interactive features aren't copied along with the content
Thanks for your response!
No I didn't copy the link, I re-inserted. The links work fine when the file is set to a vertical only app but when I load the vertical files to a V/H layout in folio builder (CS6) the file will rotate/view fine and the horizontal hyperlinks work ok but not the vertical hyperlinks.
How the same hyperlinks are set in both H & V as follow, do they seem correct to you?
Horizontal - navto://Mozobil_MM_patient_intro_H
Vertical - navto://Mozobil_MM_patient_intro_V
this is through the hyperlinks panel as a pose to the buttons panel??
You must navto:// to an article name, not a file name.
The navto link needs to point to the article name as it appears in the Folio Builder panel, not the file name.
Anyway also with link to article name, the links works in a random state, in the same page some works and some not. When the links don't works I simply update the article (without touch the navto link) and after this works. This seem a bug.
I have done hundreds of links, I know how to do link. But sometimes the link don't work. If I update the same folio without any modification, the link works. I call this a bug.
Make sure you did not cut and paste a link tagged as a Shared Hyperlink Destination.
If you hover over the non-working link in the hyperlinks panel...see if there is a reference to the document name of the alternate layout immediately preceding the "navto://"
If so then you have picked up a Shared Destination.
Delete the existing link and recreate it without tagging it as a shared resource.
You can then copy and paste from one doc to another...just as long as the link remains un-tagged as a shared resource
