Why I cannot complete downloading Flash Player, the reason stated: Can't open application because it is not supported on this architecture. I'm using a Mini Mac. OSX

If you're using an Intel based mac, you should be able to install from this dmg:

I've tried everything I can imanage, and thanks for your efforts to asssist.  I just followed your recommendation above and came up with the same results " Can't open application because it is not supported on this architecture." I surely don't know how to proceed.

Could you try to create a new, temporary, user account and see if you can install from there?  I suspect something is messed up with your LaunchServices component of OS X.  I'm hoping it's specific to just your account.  Once installed, you should be able to use Flash Player from your normal account.

Thanks Chris, I called in some outside help and was advised that my mac is too old and is no longer supported by Macromedia.  Guess I'll be forced to upgrade to something newer if I want to run with the big guy's.  Thanks for your assistance.  I certainly appreciate your's and others for the help.
