First of all it would be in your interests if you remove your RH serial number from your post. It is possible for someone to use it on your behalf.

Secondly no one here works for Adobe so would be unable to activate your product. If you contact Adobe Support with your serial number they will be able to help you.

You cannot activate X5 any more but there is a legal workaround. See Item 20 at http://www.grainge.org/pages/snippets/snippets.htm#miscellaneous

It will point you to files on Adobe's site that enable you to run X5 without activation.

You don't say what help you are producing but if it is WebHelp you need to consider an upgrade for browser compatibility.

Hi there

Expounding on what Colum said, you may think the forums here are a direct avenue to Adobe. Sure, they are on the Adobe site and employees may monitor them from time to time, but they are not intended to be a way to contact Adobe directly. Mostly they are user to user, meaning I'm a user same as you and we help one another out.

Best of luck to you in solving your issue... Rick

This version is way out of support but why do you need to contact them? The information given means activation is not required so I am not seeing why you need to contact support.

We install robohelp witout problems, when you open a robohelp project a

messagebox appears: "activation required". We try to activate this

product following assistant, activation is not possible because an error

happens: "impossible to contact with macromedia server".

That's the problem, is not possible to work wihtout product activation.

Best regards,

Jose Souto
