I've looked in many forums to find the answer: ADE displays DRM protected epub book's cover art from library downloads but when copied to Nook Tablet, the nook does not display the cover. Seems like B&N does not allow the full flexibility in the ordering/naming within the opf file that the standards allow? I have a bad feeling that B&N has no wish to resolve this issue. Could Adobe find it in their hearts to help with this? Please? The ugly gray covers are awful. (shame on B&N)

Your last comment says it all. ADE will transfer only that information
which is contained in the .epub file to the Nook - it has no way to know
what is 'cover art' and what isn't. So, if it displays in Reading mode or
Library mode in ADE, that information is transferred when you copy it to
your Nook. Please keep in mind also that the 'Nook Tablet' is not listed
as a supported device by ADE in THIS list of Supported
Devices.<http://blogs.adobe.com/digitalpublishing/supported-devices>
So, that confirms by implication that the Nook Tablet's software may not be
doing the job that you expect.
