JSS1138 May 24, 2012 12:09 AM (in response to Enrique1972)You really should be running any program in the suite under an Admin account.

Enrique1972 May 24, 2012 5:05 AM (in response to JSS1138)Isn't the account you first setup when you install Windows 7 on your computer and Admin account? I can install and uninstall programs. Also, I can make changes to programs with my account I use. When I look into the user settings in the control panel, I have Administrative right. Is there something I'm missing?
This is what I see when I go into my settings:

JSS1138 May 24, 2012 8:43 AM (in response to Enrique1972)Yep, that's an Admin account.
Are you saying that's not the one that works?

John T Smith May 24, 2012 9:12 AM (in response to Enrique1972)Win7 permissions are sometimes "odd"
Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/771202
-Set to always "run as" via icon http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395

Enrique1972 May 24, 2012 1:54 PM (in response to John T Smith)Wow! Well I guess nothing is wrong with my computer then. I had did the "right-click" and check "run as Admin" for those programs. That was the only way I could get them to load and work. I guess it is a simple fix I will have to live with. Master Collection CS6 works very well on my workstation. The whole "error message" thing was really bugging me because I thought something was wrong with my system. For anyone who has not updated to CS6 - do so NOW! Adobe hit another home run with this one!

6. Re: P Pro CS6 Error message saying "Could not find a capable video driver. Update display drivers"
John T Smith May 24, 2012 2:03 PM (in response to Enrique1972)With the CS5 I still use, after doing what I show at the 2nd link in my 9:12 AM message, all I have to do is tell Windows "yes" I want to run the program in Administrator mode when I click the icon
VERY small price to pay for fewer problems (in the case of Encore, the ONLY way to create a dual layer DVD)
I built my computer and installed Win7 64bit Pro so I am the only/Admin user... and I still had to use the "run as" setting
Like I said... Win7 permissions are sometimes ODD

cjcundiff Jul 7, 2012 2:33 PM (in response to John T Smith)I just bought the CS6 Production Suite and are having the same "...could not find any capable video play modes...." I've searched all the @#^$%! blogs and My video drivers are ups to date, I tried opening with "as admin" etc. etc. ..............My CS5.5 Premiere and OnLocation works fine and the CS6 After Effects opens and works fine.
I still can't find a fix for Pr CS6 and is driving me insane! I have a desktop with win7, 24 gb of ram and a nice NVidia card but really would love to use CS6 Premiere and Prelude but can't with this "could not find any capable video play modes".
Please help Adobe!

cjcundiff Jul 7, 2012 3:39 PM (in response to John T Smith)John, You're right about this being a user forum...I'm just getting near my wit's end! I have a GTX 260 Version 301.42 driver (the latest one NVidia has as of this morning.) I just don't feel I should have to pay for Adobe's support if I've already bought their software and they're not easy to talk to either. I guess I was just blowing some digital steam!
I just love CS6 and all their software to ever look else where. Thanks!!!!!
