ADE frustation - How to clear all my books from front page into bookshelves?

HI There, can anyone help? I find trying to keep track of all my books really frustrating, due to not being able to clear them from my main screen, ('All Books' bookshelf), by putting them in their own 'Bookshelves' i.e. Author. Can anyone help? Is this likely to change?

ADE has the capability of arranging its list of contents by several sorts.

Go to the upper right hand corner of Library view. You'll see the word

'Title'. Put your cursor on it and a drop-down box will show you what

those sorts are. Author is there, along with a number of others.
