1. Re: Geforce 7300 gs incompatible display drive in premiere elements 10??
Steve Grisetti May 30, 2012 5:55 PM (in response to malcolangelo)According to the nVidia site, the current driver is 301.42 and it was issued on May 22, 2012.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-301.42-whql-driver.html
Also have you ensured that the photos you use in your Premiere Elements project are no larger than 1000x750 pixels in size?

2. Re: Geforce 7300 gs incompatible display drive in premiere elements 10??
Bill Hunt May 30, 2012 6:55 PM (in response to malcolangelo)Also, never trust your OS (Windows here), or any driver utility, to tell if you have the latest version. Just as Steve did, go to the nVidia, or the AMD/ATI site, plug-in your card/chip and your OS. That will tell you if you do have the latest version. Windows will be at least 6 mos. out of date, and is of no use.
Good luck,
Hunt

malcolangelo May 31, 2012 4:42 AM (in response to JMJarrige)Hi JM,
Tried to find the BadDrivers.txt but couldn't find a file by that name in C:/DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS/ALL USERS/APPLICATION DATA/ADOBE/PREMIERE ELEMENTS/10 or anywhere on C drive, Thanks for the suggestion though.

7. Re: Geforce 7300 gs incompatible display drive in premiere elements 10??
Steve Grisetti May 31, 2012 4:49 AM (in response to malcolangelo)This must be something Microsoft did in a recent update. Suddenly we're seeing a rash of these complaints! Three so far this week!
Although Apple also released a new version of Quicktime this week too, so they too could have screwed something up.
But it's unlikely an issue with the program if we've seen almost none of these complaints since last September but suddenly we're seeing several!

8. Re: Geforce 7300 gs incompatible display drive in premiere elements 10??
JMJarrige May 31, 2012 6:05 AM (in response to malcolangelo)The file is located (on my Vista PC) in directory C\Program Data\Adobe\Premiere Elements\9.0 (9.0 because I use release 9, should be 10.0
in your system).

Many thanks to you and all the other advise. I'll come back with any further problems.

malcolangelo Jun 2, 2012 1:06 AM (in response to JMJarrige)Hi All,
The problem has been solved by deleting file “BadDrivers.txt” as suggested in the link below so thanks JM and thank you all for your input.
