Lee Jay Jun 4, 2012 1:42 PM (in response to athegn)It's minor, and easy to opt-out. I think I get perhaps one email a quarter.

web-weaver Jun 4, 2012 1:47 PM (in response to athegn)As Lee Jay said: it's minor and - mostly - informative such as updates to programs that you have installed.
For instance within the last month I got 3 e-mails regarding Photoshop CS6, and before that for months - nothing at all.

Bob_Peters Jun 4, 2012 1:57 PM (in response to athegn)Look at the bottom of this page for "Privacy Policy and Cookies (UPDATED)". Dig around and you'll find what you may be looking for: http://www.adobe.com/privacy/opt-out.html#marketing-messages
...and a whole lot more...

Keith_Reeder Jun 4, 2012 2:05 PM (in response to athegn)Even if it wasn't easy to opt out of, isn't this what email client spam filters are for?
In thunderbird it's all of 20 seconds' work to create a filter based on a received email which will ensure that I never see another like it.

Dennis Smith Jun 4, 2012 2:44 PM (in response to Keith_Reeder)AND -- if everyone opted out, presumably that would affect Adobe's bottom line which would affect the cost of the products.
You pay one way or the other, isn't a bit of email, which you can ignore, better than paying more $??
Its hardely SPAM when its information about new versions and new products for a supplier you already deal with.
