1. Re: Premier Pro behaving badly
lisaellensegal Jun 8, 2012 7:33 AM (in response to lisaellensegal)I seem to have fixed my own issue. I created a new sequence, copied all footge from the troubled sequence, pasted into the new one and all seems to be running smoothly. I am assuming that this was my problem.
Time will tell.

3. Re: Premier Pro behaving badly
JSS1138 Jun 8, 2012 4:21 PM (in response to lisaellensegal)The project was shot in 1080i 60fps.
On a side note, there is no such animal in the video kingdom. A lot of camera makers mislabel this setting. It's actually 1080i at 30 frames per second.

JSS1138 Jun 9, 2012 11:06 PM (in response to lisaellensegal)1920 x 1080/60i is not 60fps?
Nope. It's a misnomer. The convention is to list only the frame rate, but for some odd reason folks who should know better (camera makers) insist on incorrectly listing the field rate.
So anytime you see 60i, what they really mean is 30 interlaced frames per second, the proper shorthand for which is 30i.
