Can someone please help to figure out why Flash player won't download to my system???

When I go into facebook I have to download flash player every time. This has been going on for about 6 months.  I have tried to get help but can not seem to get it figured out.  Last week when I downloaded it started to say it was finished but wasn't in the system and now I can't play games on facebook at all.  Please someone help.

I have windows vista premium.

Also, what files do you have in

• C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash ?
• C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash ?

I'm using Firefox now because yahoo wasn't working and I can't find the file C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash? My system is 32 bit.

That means you do not have Flash Player on your system at all.

Download the offline installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.ht... and save it to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.

I tried this and it didn't work.

What part didn't work?  Did you receive an error message?  Can you post your installer log so we can take a look at what's happening?
