my credit card has been debited and on my subscrition page it says that my CC is ok so I assumed that everything was ok from that side

I too just got my subscription and got my welcome mail and verified my address - I am running 10.7.4. I have followed the steps in this thread, removed ALL cs5.5 software - rebooted - and same issue - started with JUST DW6 - then today (1 day later) PS6 asked for serial number. I have contacted support on line - they apparently should not be listed under the support section - as they are not aware of this issue (I have to point them to this site) and after 45 minutes of each time on line with them - they finally state that they are "not technically trained, and to call technical support" As I sit here with a 1 hour and 45 minute wait time (COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE) but I have no choice....
CDavis818 the issue listed here should be resolved at present. I would recommend you download the latest update to the Adobe Application Manager from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/. It is located in the bottom right hand corner of the page.

I know this is an old thread but my experience maybe helpful to someone who had the same problem I did and was looking for answers....
I had the same issue as mentioned here, products downloading in trial and asking for a serial number when I try to activate. Confirmed my email, waited 3 days (as suggested in another post about sometimes it takes Adobe's servers time to issue SNs -- don't know why it would take that long but...) finally called Adobe. They looked at my account and noticed that I had not sent MYSELF an invite. Apparently, being the account admin does not automatatically make you a user...this step is not very clear in any of the documentation.
BTW, I am using Window's 7 PCs. Works great now that I got that figured out.
Here is a fix that has worked for us. Click on License the software. If the next screen comes up and wants to log you on with your user id, click "not my id." On the next screen re-enter your log on and password and the software should activate.

MeAndFriends what steps from this message thread have you tried so far? If you go to your account at http://www.adobe.com/ and select My Adobe do you see the Creative Cloud listed under My Subscriptions?

I'm a Member of CC for the last 30hours, and all my apps are still in Trial mode

I can't Deactivate, because this is a clean install on a 2 day old mac.
But it keeps sending me to the "Serial Number" screen.

The cause of the problem was so stupid You can't imagine.
The person o bought Creative Cloud, forgot to make me (and my adobe ID) one of the users on the CC settings page.
And that kept me from activating CC for a day or two.

I found the solution for me!
On creative cloud software:
- Click the gears icon on the top right and click preferences.
- Click the accounts tab.
- Click Sign out. Then sign back in.
- Run your Adobe programs. They should now start normally WITHOUT asking you for a serial number... Also, a notification on the bottom right of my windows came up after I started photoshop... saying to register my software (this never came up before and is optional).
I use Creative Cloud at work on a Windows i7 machine and used to have it installed under the same licence on my MacBook Pro at home. After the 2014 update it seemed to think my MacBook software was running as a trial. That "trial" has now come to an end and I can't open any software! I've uninstalled and tried to redownload but it still says "download as a trial". I'm signed in with the same ID and it recognises me as a member.
How do I get around this trial? I'm a paid for business CC user so I should be able to install on a second machine no problem. I need this to work from home.
