While I won't claim CS6 to be perfect I have no major complaints.

This is not about particular problems with individual applications.
The CS6 suite was not tested on real-life Windows installations.
It can work, with workarounds.
But it normally does not.
In particular if a user is logged on as a normal user, and has separated Windows system files and TEMP files (and possibly user files) into separate partitions.
Exactly as any intelligent Windows user would do, following Adobe performance recommendations.
It needs fixing. My question is when?

The reported issues, while certainly a pain to those experiencing them, are not happening to a majority of users.
As for when, or even if, these issues will be fixed, only Adobe knows. Asking here will not, unfortunately, get you answer. This is a user to user forum and most of the folks here, like me, are just volunteer users.

Quite right, couldn't agree more.
But it's perfectly possible for Adobe to test the CS6 suite (with nothing else installed) for known standard software configurations, on both OSX and Windows.
At least to the OOBE point.
And that's what Adobe didn't do for CS6.
It is absolutely obvious that they did not.
That is an embarrasment. But more importantly, it needs f~i~x~i~n~g.

Not true. (If you can't answer, by all means say nothing.)
It's quite possible that CC for example will reply (though why only poor him?), and from past experience I'd bet he would be completely honest.
It's also possible others might join the thread to protest at poor product delivery.
Both would be a good thing in my view. Adobe have really messed up.

That's not the issue. Prerelease or beta testers can and should report pre-release errors. They might miss some, but that is not their responsibility.
After release, users are all in the same boat. We can and should tell it how it is.
Ordinary, intelligent, faithful, dedicated Windows users have not been well served by the CS6 release, and we need a point update quickly.
