Hello, I have purchased Creative Cloud Membership which I intend to use on my personal machine. However, I only have access to a very slow 3G wifi network.

Is it possible to install the CS6 software using the boxed copy we have at my place of work, but then activate it for use with Creative Cloud at home?

Downloading the Creative Suite over a 3G connection will take a very long time, and I was hoping it might be possible to save time by installing it from boxed softeare.

Thanks

That should work okay, just install it in trial mode.

I'm moving this thread over to our download/installation forum.

For general Creative Cloud Membership questions, here is the FAQ link:

UPDATE

The IT department at my place of work installed CS6 Master Collection from a boxed software copy onto my machine (new Mac laptop, no previous Adobe software installed) as a trial.

At home, when I opened Photoshop (and after requesting a Java update, which was quick to install) it prompted me to enter my Adobe ID, which I has used to buy Creative Cloud Membership.

Now, all the programs seem to open and be working fine! Installing the software was a great time saver.
