Hi All,

Cap2 takes a new screen capture when we hit the Tab key. Is there a way to disable that?

Thanks in advance - Vijay

In Recording Option dialog, you may deselect Record keystrokes. But that will stop recording all the keystrokes and not just Tab key. Only Mouse clicks will be recorded after that.

thanks

Hi,

It seems liek they removed a feature then. We need to record keystrokes, but we need to have the Tab key not take a screen capture.

The tab key changes focus. Therefore Captivate assumes a state change and takes a snapshot. The best way around this is to switch from automatic recording to manual. But then, why is it a big deal to simply delete that unwanted screenshot?

Hi,

I can see that the norm for most is to take a new screen grab when hitting Tab; however, on a project that we are workign on, we are narrating information about a set of fields in an application, and prefer to ffill them all in on one slide.
