There is currently no web viewer. It’s been discussed and AFAIK is still planned.
You’ll need to stay tuned.
Thank you for the reply and the information.
Excuse me Bob, a kind of web viewer is already available.
You must turn your folio in "published" status and view it on a custom viewer (Drop 19 or higher) on your iPad.
On the top of the right, you'll find "sharing features". Choose "email", it will send you an URL where you can see your folio.
Unfortunately, many interactivities are not supported...
Christophe and Bob,
I did it (chosen the e-mail and twitter for sharing the folio), but the link that appears in the sheared item is the url that I inserted in my custom viewer.
I enabled the web viewer at the Administration Panel for this application.
What am I forgetting?
It already happened to me... I "updated" my publication in Folio producer and tried again. And again. And it worked, even if I don't know why.
just doing updates without changes or making any kind of changes before updating?
Sorry Filipe if it wasn't clear.
1. In Folio Producer, select the concerned Folio
2. If aready published (it should be), click on "update"
3. Select "update content".
4. Click OK.
In my opinion, no need of any change in indd files before updating.
Ok, that's my point. No sherable URL yet... :/
But ok, I'll still trying.
Just in time: 72 hours after I uptaded my content for Web Viewer, the link is now available when I share my content.
FilipeVSpeck, with this "web viewer" you could share your Folio in a browser with all interactivity working fine?
Let's say our client wants to publish a magazine for iPad, and also wants to have it available in their website. So, since users download "adobe content viewer for web" they will be able to read the magazine in a desktop (pc and mac) with all interactivity ??
