My work laptop died.  I had Adobe writer 8 standard (same as Adobe standard 8?) on it.  I have the license key.  How do I get it installed on my new machine?  do I need to dactivate from my dead laptop?  how do i do that?  Also, I can't find a link to install Adobe Standard 8 or Writer 8 Standard or whatever its called.

Thanks,

Acrobat 8 is not compatible with Windows 7, so stop wasting time, buy an upgrade. Looking for those would take forever since Adobe no lonegr offer them. Activations can be reset by calling support, but as I said, it's pretty much a moot point, given the circumstances...

thanks.  I am running 7 64bit so good to know its not compatiable.  Hopefully I can upgrade off my old license versus buying the whole package and save a few pennies?
