1. Re: Saving Video's & Settings
the_wine_snob Jul 3, 2012 10:08 AM (in response to SonnyT)Do you have the option to Save_As/Export as MOV with either the Animation, or PNG CODEC? Either of those should work fine on either a Mac, or PC (with the proper CODEC's installed).
MP4's are heavily compressed, and when one does a Save_As/Export to MP4, the video will be re-compressed.
Good luck,

2. Re: Saving Video's & Settings
SonnyT Jul 3, 2012 10:43 AM (in response to the_wine_snob)Thanks a lot for the suggestions, they were indeed helpfull. I saved the file as a Quick Time Movie and the copy looks identical (or almost identical) to the orignal file.
One other question. Should the layers pallet show each frame of the video? When I load the video file it just one layer in the layers pallet.
Note On Saving:
I can do the following.
File
Export
Render Video
File Options:
3G
FLC
Quick Time Movie
AVI
DV Stream
Image Sequence
MPEG-4

Mylenium Jul 3, 2012 11:00 AM (in response to SonnyT)That's correct. Unless you use the Frames to Layers script, PS will create a video layer. Everything else is handled in the timeline.

the_wine_snob Jul 3, 2012 1:17 PM (in response to Mylenium)Mylenium,
Thank you for that bit of info. I do all my video work in Premiere, so had no clue how PS-Extended handled things. Now I know.
Appreciated,
Hunt
