I can't seem to get Adobe flash player to work after I've download it. It seems to install OK, but when I try to play a video all I get is a message telling me I need to install Adobe flash player.

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix it?

I saw a blank box. I guess that means flash player isn't installed even though I see it on my programs list.

It may be installed, but possibly disabled.  Check

P.S. with edition I meant 32-bit or 64-bit, but it doesn't really matter, as the new installer will automatically install the 32-bit and 64-bit plugins on 64-bit systems (Vista and Windows 7).

Thank you for your help. I clicked on the links you sent me and followed the steps I did finally get the flash player to install.

It's rather jerky and unevean, and it freezes up sometimes, but at least it's installed now. Maybe you could direct me to another form that would solve those problems. Thanks again.

Again mention your Windows Version, IE version, and Flash Player version, then describe the problems you are seeing?

Do you have RealPlayer installed?
