Downloading Adobe Plugin

When downloading the following, I get so far and then it states to close internet explorer.  How can it continue to download when you close where it is downloading from?

11.3.300.257 (for ActiveX - Internet Explorer)

11.3.300.262 (for Plug-in - all other)

Which Adobe product are you trying to install?  What operating system are you using?  Finally which version of Internet Explorer are you utilizing?

Try another browser or download the full installer from here if the download applet for whatever reason doesn't work.

Download the offline installers from http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.ht... and save them to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installers.
