1. Re: Installation of Pre Pro CS6 with CS5.5
shooternz Jul 6, 2012 6:13 PM (in response to BJBBJB1)Leave CS5.5 installed.
No issues at all by doing so.

cfg_2451 Jul 7, 2012 8:27 AM (in response to BJBBJB1)Don't bother to uninstall CS5.5 unless you want to. I've got CS5 and CS6 installed side-by-side on this machine and both work just fine. Lets me finish projects started with CS5, and start new projects with CS6 without any hassle.

BJBBJB1 Jul 7, 2012 12:21 PM (in response to cfg_2451)Thanks to both for your input. I'll just leave CS5 alone.

BJBBJB1 Jul 8, 2012 7:15 PM (in response to shooternz)One more question.....has Adobe built-in any intelligence to move over your custom presets for Pr Pro or Media Encoder from CS5 to 6 during the installation?
Lightroom is plug and play, it finds everything. Would be very nice if Premiere Pro did it also so you don't have to hunt within subfolders to find all of your presets.

JSS1138 Jul 9, 2012 2:02 PM (in response to BJBBJB1)As far as I know, you'll have to do that manually for PP.
