Which OS do you have? Which browser are you using?
Check the below article.
No it never works. It just gives me an installation complete message. Then I immediately go to a site that uses flash player and get the message that I will have to download flash player in order to view this site. I’ve also tried shutting down my PC then back in to get to the site… same results.
Try a clean install, as described in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/928315
then download and run both offline installers from http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player- windows.html#main-pars_header
If you still have problems after performing the clean install, please post
- all file names in folder C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
- all file names in folder C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash
- the contents of the FlashInstall.log file in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
- the contents of the FlashInstall.log file in C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash
Still did not work… AAARRRRGGGHHH
Did not see any log files in the following.
FlashInstall.log file in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
FlashInstall log file in C?\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash
Could they possibly be hidden files? What would their extension be?
