Hi there. My company has been acquired by another, and the new company wants to know how public licenses are used concerning the help files that I create with Robo.

I tried to contach Adobe, but the prob is, I have version 5, and they only provide support for versions 6 and 7. So they weren't able to help me.

From looking at the web site for version 6, I see the list of third party software that Robo uses. Does anybody have the list for version 5?

What I need to know, specifically, is if GPL, or Apple public licensing, or GNU is employed in Robo help file creation, and what areas of the product these affect. If any of these are used, then the new company needs to know.

Thanks

Mark

The outputs you create do not require any licences.

Oh yeah, I know that I do not need to provide the licenses with the output. But my new company needs to know what public licenses are used in the production of the help files. If certain ones are used, then there is some sort of conflict I guess.

The licence is linked to your copy of RH. Therefore if anyone uses RH to produce the output they will need a licence. RH is normally sold on a user by user basis therefore it may be sufficient to say you have a licence for each person who uses it. However only your company can confirm this.
