Renaming the Complete and Save buttons

Is it possible to rename the Save and Complete buttons that surround a guided form in the workspace?

The Complete button can be renamed by providing a name to the route leaving the task.  Not sure about the Save button.

I am not sure what you mean.

At the moment the process launched a Guided xfaForm.  The render service is custom that prepopulates the form.  The submit service is also custom.  Therefore we do not have a route to the complete service.

We just want "Complete" button in workspace to be named "Submit" or something more meaningful.

Can we do that through workspace global setting? Or what's the way to do that? This is when the form is first loaded and it's not with "assign task" so actions are not an option.

Yes we can rename Complete and Save buttons.

You need to edit the "alc_wks_client_ui.properties" file of workspace.

For this you need to edit project of your workspace. here is the link to  pdf which would tell you how to customize your workspace.

After this you also need to restart your server instance too.
