Microphone issues

I am able to use my webcam but, when I click on the microphone icon no one can hear me. I tested my microphone on skype and it was working fine but, not in adobe connect. I have windows 7 home with built-in webcam and microphone. Is there something I can do because I really need to use a microphone during the conferences.

Make sure Skype is not active when using Connect. Have you tested your mic with the Audio Setup Wizard in Connect? It may just be that your audio input has been selected instead of your built in mic.
