Worrywart2012 Jul 20, 2012 3:49 AM (in response to Worrywart2012)Of course it can. I've been doing it for the past year or so. 9.5 version gives that option.

Worrywart2012 Jul 23, 2012 5:40 AM (in response to pwillener)Hello, I was able to uninstall/reinstall through the link you provided, however, I am still having the same problem. What should I look for under Event Viewer? I am looking at the list, however it does not mention anything about Adobe.

You should be looking for the time when such a shutdown was initiated. Check all the tabs.

12. Re: Adobe 9.5 HELP!!
Worrywart2012 Jul 25, 2012 5:31 PM (in response to pwillener)Hello, sorry for the tardy response. I am not sure if I am readin the Events correctly. It shows AdobeARMservice. It says, "the event ID from AdobeARMservice cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted." problem still not resolved. Does this mean I have to purchase a new Adobe Arobat? I got this one less than 2 years ago. They are expensive. I do appreciate all your help and feedback.

pwillener Jul 25, 2012 7:59 PM (in response to Worrywart2012)You also have Acrobat installed? What version?
Generally, before version X, Adobe Acrobat & Reader on the same system was an unsupported combination.
