    launch air application from browser on android

    rela33

      Hi there,

      I'm building an air application for android and I have to launch it from a web browser.

      I've found some tutorials about launch air.swf and use launchApplication() like this tutorial :

      http://archive.davidtucker.net/2008/01/11/air-tip-6-launching-an-application-from-the-brow ser/

      I know most of these tutorials are for a desktop application so I'm not sure if I can use it for an android device.

      I know there is a different way to launch from a browser with intent-filter on the xml configuration

      <intent-filter>
          <data android:scheme="my.special.scheme" />
          <action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW" />
      </intent-filter>

      and After I need to do that :

      <a href="my.special.scheme://other/parameters/here">

      But if I want to do like below, it doesn't work

      window.open("my.special.scheme://other/parameters/here")

      Any ideas?

      Thanks a lot.
