Manish-Sharma Jul 21, 2012 7:03 AM (in response to KeithGoldstein)Run the install again. If the error recurs, then run CS Cleaner Tool and remove all products , then try to install

KeithGoldstein Jul 21, 2012 8:29 AM (in response to Manish-Sharma)Should I uninstall CS5.5 first, or is this needed for the CS6 upgrade? If so, how do I deal with any scripts or custom plugin presets that reside in these CS5.5 folders?
If I run cscleanertool, will I loose these scripts/presets?

4. Re: Can't install CS6 - Installer,download issues
KeithGoldstein Jul 21, 2012 12:32 PM (in response to KeithGoldstein)Success! Manish, Cleaner did seem to help, thanks! I wound up cleaning everything, even CS5.5. The Installer at least started, appeared to install (but got the spinning beach ball of death – had to force quit). Though I saw the apps in the applications folder, they would't open...something about Adobe Manager not installed. I then tried to reinstall again, but an error came up ... google found that it could be a permissions issue. I then moved the installer out of my Downloads folder and onto the desktop. Launching the Installer from here then finally worked perfectly.
Hope Adobe makes this easier in the future. Lost a lot of hours figuring this out.
