Well, I don't know...It seems like it might be a hard issue to miss, and according to thie FAQ there's no issues found after extensive testing ( http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/faq.html#lion-os ), so i thought there might be an easy fix.
Oddly, If I drag the Bridge folder out of the Application Support folder and start it again, it works fine. if I modify anything (to rebuild all the missing folders at that location) and quit and start up again, the crash happens again.
Doing the same thing again, it crashes while I'm on the COMPUTER selection, when I enlarge the icons...
Yes, it seems to be caused by enlarging the icons too far (in the content window) with COMPUTER selected.
Having same problem, crashes when I scroll.
From what I read in the papers Mountain Lion is patterned after mobile devices so the heavy users may suffer. Looks like Win8 going the same direction. If enough users complain to Apple maybe they will have incentive to fix it to work with Adobe products.
Reposting myself here:
Have you made your user Library-folder visible in Finder?
I did that in the Terminal and shortly after that the crashes started for me.
I just updated to 10.8.2 and that made the user Library-folder invisible again.
At the same time Bridge started behaving properly.
Not saying that's anything other than a coincidence.
